To recognize, revitalize, and promote the historic, cultural, social and economic significance of Downtown Shawnee and to educate the community about the benefits of its preservation through involvement of the entire community.

Our Vision…

In order to benefit today’s and future generations’ quality of life, Downtown Shawnee would like to retain a vibrant mix of quality shops, professional services, restaurants and entertainment establishments, while maintaining a safe, friendly small-town pedestrian oriented atmosphere for locals and tourists. Downtown Shawnee’s progressive businesses and continued expansion, as well as its promotion efforts, and appreciation of historic treasures will strengthen our sense of community.
